Group plans protests against Amnesty International's report

Human Rights group, Global Peace Movement International, said it has concluded arrangements to stage a global protest over what it described as misleading and bias reporting of Amnesty International against the Nigeria Army and its people.
According to the group which also plans to hold a world press conference in London, Nigeria and other nations over the issues, the need to call the body to order has become imperative, following the ceaseless and nonfactual report that has become its hallmark on Nigeria in recent times.
President General of Global Peace International, Dr Mike Uyi, told journalists that his group has also invited and liased with other nations of the world that are grappling with the dubious and conflicting roles and activities that has become the stock in trade of Amensty International.
He said the protests by Global Peace Movement International is meant to correct the bias report of Amnesty International on the Nigerian Army and the government.
