Bishop Kukah urges Nigerians to hope on miracle

The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, His Lordship, Matthew Hassan Kukah, has urged Nigerians to believe in God's inestimable mercies for an improved economy just like the Biblical miracle of five loaves and two fishes with which the Lord Jesus Christ fed a great multitude in the wilderness, as written in the Holy Bible.
Bishop Kukah made the remarks while speaking at the Fourth Memorial Lecture held in honour of Professor Celestine Onwuliri, a former Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology (FUTO), held in Enugu this weekend.
The respected Catholic Bishop noted that a lot of Nigerians are becoming frustrated over the downturn in the economy because of the collapsing prices of crude oil in the international market stressing that through prayers and faith in God, the country would overcome all her challenges.
