Worried by the need to assist the less privileged children in supporting their education needs, Ane Osiobe International Foundation has donated some items to LEA Primary school, Lugbe in Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC,
Donating the materials to the school on Monday, the Foundation president, Dr. Stephen A. Osiobe, who was represented by the Project Director, Asika Miracle said the decision was informed by the need to support the pupils in pursuit of their education.
He said for a better society, the younger ones needed assistance in area of their education, especially provision of teaching and learning materials.
“Knowledge is power and one needs education for effective knowledge and to succeed in Life, nothing matters than knowing that you made the world a better place”.
He explained that the foundation was started over a year was in memory of Mrs. Ann Eloho Osiobe, who was a Deputy Director in the Department of Policy Implementation now Department of Quality Assurance.
The Director, who said the stride was the NGO’s first programme since its inception, promised that the Foundation would ensure its put in place quality and modern approaches that could complement the efforts of the government and wealthy individuals to achieve the best education for children.
