Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi has said that his government has concluded plans to make $40 billion investment in the country.
Yi who disclosed this yesterday in Abuja during a joint briefing with the Foreign Affairs Minister of Nigeria, Geoffrey Onyeama said Chinese government has invested $22 billion for completed projects in Nigeria and another $23 billion ongoing projects.
He said that Chinese government was working to ensure that outcome of the FOCAC summit is well implemented in Nigeria.
According to him, China and Nigeria have a good relationship, adding "our relations have been developing well."
Also speaking, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama said meeting provides opportunity to tap from the $60 billion Chinese government promised African countries last year to fund the various projects in the country.
