Condemnation trails IGP's sack of Wike's security details

The Police High Command had issued a statement read by Mr Don Awunah with claims that the dismissed officers accompanied Governor Wike to a polling unit on De-cember 10, 2016. While investigation has it that the event that dismissed the officers allegedly took place on December 12, 2016, two days after voting had been concluded in Rivers State.
Reacting on the incident which is still creating dust in the State, the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, Samuel Wanosike described the action of the police command as a cover up for what he said was an electoral fraud perpetrated by the Po-lice High command in alleged connection with Special Anti-Robbery Squad in support of All Progressives Congress, APC.
