Determined to bring education to the doorsteps of many people in rural areas, the famous Elendu family in Alayi, Bende Local Government of Abia State, has donated a library complex to the community.
Speaking during the library commissioning ceremony of the Bernard and Rose Elendu memorial library, Alayi, Mazi Eugene Elendu urged parents to invest in education, insisting that a child that is well educated has hope of a better future, even as he called on well meaning Nigerians to help indigent students, acquire standard education.
