Chairman of Kano State chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Ransom Bello on Wednesday in Kano tasked President Muhammadu Buhari to set a special Presidential Panel that can unravel the mystery behind the recent killings in Southern Kaduna.
Bishop Bello who doubles as the General Overseer of Calvary Life Assembly headquartered in Kano, insisted that the Southern Kaduna mayhem which claimed the lives of mostly Christians was instigated by Fulani herdsmen and wondered why security operatives did not see the crisis coming.
In his views, the body languages of President Buhari and Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai over the Southern Kaduna killings were too complex for Nigerians to understand the position of the two leaders.
Bishop Bello, who spoke to journalists in Kano as part of events to mark the Kano CAN Annual Week of Prayer, further urged President Buhari to follow the case of the Southern Kaduna killings to a logical conclusion.
“The Southern Kaduna crisis is wrapped in religious and ethnic coloration, and I disagree with a Minister in President Buhari’s cabinet who in his recent remarks segregated the Southern Kaduna crisis from religious and ethnic incitements.
