Formula One legend Michael Schumacher's medical bills could be approaching £14million, three years after his skiing accident in the French Alps.
Schumacher hit his head on a rock while skiing with son Mick on December 29 2013 and was placed into a medically induced coma, from which he did not emerge until six months later.
The German was allowed home to Geneva, Switzerland to recover, with his treatment reportedly costing £115,000-a-week, meaning the total figure could now be as high as £13.8million.
A 15-strong team was said to be caring for Schumacher, who was worth more than £500million at the time of the incident.
Wife Corinna has sold off his private jet and a holiday home in Norway since the accident, according to the Daily Star.
