Toyin Majekodunmi: 2017 claims first Nollywood celebrity

The Nigerian movie in­dustry, Nollywood, has recorded its first loss in the New Year, with the death on the 2nd of January 2017, of veteran Yoruba actress, Toyin Majekodunmi, popu­larly known as Iya Kike. The actress, who had starred in several Yoruba movies dur­ing her life time, was married to fellow thespian, also in the Yoruba movie flock, Solo­mon Majekodunmi.
Her sudden death, which was recorded less than 48 hours into the New Year, be­comes the first death in Nol­lywood in 2017.
Though, no official state­ment has been released by the family on the cause of her death, she was said to have experienced diabetes related health issues, which is suspected as the cause of her death.
Several colleagues and friends have taken to their social media handles to con­dole with the family of the deceased, who was a highly respected member of the Yo­ruba acting community dur­ing her life time. May her soul rest in Peace.

This talented thespian, who had recent­ly posted an appreciative message on her Instagram Page, over her close shave with death at the tragic Uyo Church building col­lapse, where she was billed to be with her Governor at the Church service, but this is not the news, the news is that this beautiful actress is currently specu­lated to be having a ro­mantic relationship with an oil baron, Stanley Uzo­chukwu of Stanel Oil.
According to gist bear­ers, the billionaire oil baron is currently en­gaged with the actress, who in 2014, got divorced from her former husband, American based Philip Ehiagwina.
The news behind the news, however is that Stanley is currently mar­ried with 4 kids and Ini seems willing to deal with that? Only time will tell.
