Kigha and two other accused persons are facing a six-count charge bothering on threat to life and terrorism by the DSS over a chieftaincy tussle in Ekowe community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The trial Judge, Justice Ibrahim Watila has reserved ruling on a bail application filed by the counsel to the accused, Clement Kekemeke to February 24, 2017.

Justice Watila fixed the date after hearing from the prosecution, Victor Uchendu and the Defence counsel, Clement Kekemeke.

The prosecution had told the court to deny bail to the accused persons stressing that they are being charged for a capital crime which is punishable by death.
