Budding afro-pop artiste, Klintt, releases his debut single titled Joanna. Joanna is a smooth tune with a very catchy hook delivered over artful mid-tempo instrumentation. The song tells the tale of a man enamored by his love interest. With every beat drop, he sings her praises as he woos her, pointing out that he is a responsible lover and he “no dey kiss and tell”. Overall, the bouncy track gets the production it deserves, which adds extra quality to it.
Klintt has been bubbling underground for a few years. He has worked with a host of underground acts and performed in different cities, getting plaudits for his energy, versatility and unique style. Joanna track was produced by prolific producer Tuzi, mixed and mastered by Igodan.
Born Klinton Enyioha, Klintt is an afro-pop artiste based in Lagos, Nigeria. Born in Warri, Delta state, Klintt discovered his love for music as a child. At 15, he moved to Benin where he began exploring his music talent. There, he began honing his skills, collaborating with artistes around the city and producers.
He finally got his breakthrough when he got the attention of ace producer, Chopstix. This was after he recorded a song on a free instrumental released by Chopstix for use by artistes. Chopstix was so impressed by it that he called him up and got him to head over to Lagos. Upon arrival in Lagos, Klintt started hanging around more established acts including the GRIP Boiz, Ice prince, Adekunle Gold among others, an experience he used to further polish his skills.
