We are set to rebrand NFSC, Says Ikpea

The Chairman of the Nigerian Football Supporters Club, Rev Samuel Ikpea, has said that the primary aim of his administration was to reposition the group, by making it independent, thereby attracting corporate sponsorships.

Rev Ikpea made this known to The AUTHORITY in an exclusive interview yesterday.

He stated that the group has what it takes to attract big corporate Organizations for partnership, a move he said will be of immense benefit to the Organizations, as the Nigerian supporters club remains the most vociferous in the World.

"We are set to hit the ground rolling, after some delays experienced owing to some hitches, after Our elections last year. But thank God most of the issues has been settled now.

"Personally I will want to leave my footprints in the sand of time, by totally overhauling the system and make the group a household name, World over.

"Right now We have started talking to different Corporate Organizations for partnership, and their responses has been marvellous.

"Remember this Country has the most vociferous Supporters Club in the World, and had once been ranked as the best in the Universe. So any group or individual that invests on us, will surely make good dividends.

On the assumed factions in the group, as the Vincent Okumugba led group are believed to be claiming to be the authentic Nigeria Football supporters club group, he said.

"I believe this should be an issue of the past, as the election has been conducted last year in Lagos, and a winner emerged. I will only advice him and his followers to sheath their sword and unite with us, so that We can build a group that will always make the Country proud," he concluded.
