ASTPA has last Sunday organised a thanksgiving at the Catholic Pro-Cathedral in Garki, Area 3, Abuja.

The president gave the commendation at a reception organised by the Association after the thanksgiving. He said that he observed that initially, Onitsha and other parts of the state were no-go-areas, both day and night, but noted with happiness that with Obiano at the helm of affairs in the state, the problem posed by insecurity has become a thing of the past.

He spoke on his performance in the area of agriculture for food security and for export.

Speaking on the oncoming governorship election in the state, he advised those who registered in other states not to take the risk of casting their votes with such cards in Anambra. For solution, he informed that such people to go to the appropriate authorities transfer their voters’ registration to the state.

He gave N2 million to the Association as a support from his government, just as he spoke on the need for his reelection to enable him finish what he has at hand.
