Daniel Bob Global Foundation (DBGF) gives succour to Anambra community

ODOGWU EMEKA ODOGWU reports that Daniel Bob Global Foundation has brought succour to schools, widows and widowers in Awada Obosi and its environs, in Anambra State, at a special event held at Sedes Sapientia Dei group of Schools, Awada.
 
Founder of the founda­tion, Mr. Daniel Orji, said that the aim of the foundation is to bring hope to the hopeless and empower humanity to achieve its fullest potentials as well as enhance quality of life for all.
Mr. Orji who noted that he has been helping his fel­low human beings for dec­ades now, assured that he will sustain the foundation as far as he lives by the spe­cial grace of God.
“The essence of my visit to Awada today is to assist the less-privileged peo­ple, widows, widowers and all people that fall within that category who are go­ing through very difficult situations. We also made handsome donations to the school children in this en­vironment; providing them with some educational ma­terials and sports wears.”
“Daniel Bob Global Foundation was initiated by me because since my life, I like assisting people. It serves as a platform to get closer to the needy and provide them help. Our main objective is to bring hope to the hopeless and empower humanity in or­der to achieve their fullest potentials through skill ac­quisition and career devel­opment” he maintained.
A member of the board of trustees of the Foundation, Mr. Robinson Godstime, called on other members of the society to be their brother’s keeper.
“The idea behind the es­tablishment of this founda­tion is to give succour to the needy; to make those who are going through one diffi­culty or the other to under­stand that there will always be a way out of every situa­tion, no matter how bad it might seem. Our intention is to touch the needy in so many positive ways possi­ble” said Robinson.
In their separate speech­es, the manager of Sedes Sapientia Dei Group of schools Awada, Reverend Father Vincent Ezenwaka, and a pupil, Miss Emmacu­letta Attah, commended the philanthropist for his mag­nanimity and prayed God to bless him.
The international founda­tion came with various food items which include but not limited to several bags of rice, over 50 cartons of In­domie noodles, educational materials, dozens of exercise books, sports wears, as well as monetary package which they donated to the indigent citizens of the area.
The recipients of the lar­gess include widows, wid­owers, poor people, little children resident in the area, Block Rosary centres, schools, and others. The students and pupils were all given sports wears, exercise books and other academic materials to support learn­ing.
The benefitting schools were: Divine Foundation, Blessed Kids, Glasul Divine, Sure Foundation, Bright Fu­ture, Mother Care Kiddies Academy, Favoured Chil­dren British Academy, and Sedes Sapientiae Nursery/Primary Schools among others.
Aside the above donations, the team also gave words of encouragement to revive the spirits of the downtrod­den and all others who fall within that category.
Speaking on behalf of the pupils and students, little Miss Emmaculater Attah, appreciated the team for their kind gesture. She said that the educational materi­als donated to them would go a long way to assist their academic pursuits.
