Novak Djokovic is reportedly in danger of missing the Miami Open as he continues to struggle with an elbow issue.
The Serb crashed out in just the fourth round in Indian Wells as he went down in straight sets to Nick Kyrgios to continue his mixed run of form, with a win in Qatar his only result of note in 2017.
Djokovic was forced to pull out of last season’s China Open with a right elbow issue and having seemingly been plagued by the same problem, has visited a specialist in Monaco in a bid to find a solution.
However, reports in France suggest he received negative news and could now opt to skip the Miami Open, which starts on Monday.
The tournament has already received a significant blow with world number one Andy Murray sitting out due to his own elbow injury.
