The Zonal Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS5 Benin, Mr Kehinde Adeleye, yesterday inspected the number plates production plant in Awka in Anambra State.
Adeleye pointed out that the plant was meeting the demands from South-East and South-South states.
He expressed satisfaction with the productive capacity of the plant to meet the number plates demand to eleven states of the region.
Adeleye also declared open a capacity building workshop with the themed: ‘Putting Hands on Deck to Achieve Stated Goals; The Anambra State Methodology’.
The zonal commander tasked officers on professionalism and the need to be goal-oriented, saying, “This is crucial to achieving the Corps’ strategic goal of reducing crash by 15 per cent and fatality by 25 per cent in 2017.
“The need for human capacity building in an organisation could not be over emphasised, as achieving strategic goals will not be possible without it, no matter the amount of material resource available.
