Group urges Buhari to save Ebonyi APC from extinction

Pro-democracy group in Ebonyi State, Buhari/Osinbajo Initiative for demonstrating change in Nigeria yesterday called on President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the leadership crisis that has weakened the party in the state.
The group earlier held a rally at Ikwo Local Government Area of the state, appealed to the President to safe the party from being swallowed up.
The state branch of the party had been enmeshed in crisis for two years with Hon Ben Nwaobasi and Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze laying claim to the chairmanship seat.
The National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Chinedu Ogah, who made the appeal, accused those he called moneybags politicians from Labour Party who defected to the party of causing the crisis.
He noted that the problem in the state was that those appointed by the President have not impacted positively on the lives of the people.
