The Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, has pledged the ministry’s commitment to making health services of Nigerians a top priority.
He said the ministry was doing its best to ensure that the change agenda of the present administration is not thwarted.
The minister stated this at the inauguration of inter agency primary health care revitalization supply chain committee and commissioning of health centre power kits in Abuja.
Adewole advised health workers, especially those in the public sector to support government plans in providing quality health services to Nigerians at all levels.
He described the power kits as a major that would boost medical activities in rural areas, stressing: “This initiative will boost most of the health activities in primary health care centres.
“The ministry is going to ensure that there is proper usage of the health centre power kits, which is in line with the present administration change initiative”
He called on health personnel to do all that would support in safeguarding the equipment even as he commended the donor of the kits.
In an address, the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) Dr. Faisal Shuaibu, said the initiative was commendable.
Shuaibu said inauguration of the chain revitalization committee would ensure that there is a robust supply chain in place.
