Nobody will be allowed to play god in PDP - Sheriff

The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff on wednesday declared that nobody would be allowed to play god in the party.

Sheriff, who said this yesterday when he received members of the Plateau State chapter of the PDP who paid a courtesy visit to him at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, assured all members of the party that they will be given level playing field to realize their political ambition.

Assuring the visitors that aggrieved members of the party will be brought back to the fold of the party, Sheriff reiterated that the direction the party will take will be decided by the people at the grassroots.

He said: “You can’t force people to follow a leader they do not believe in. We are doing everything possible to bring all PDP members back. All those who believe in PDP will be given level playing field to realize their political ambition. Those seeking to destroy PDP will not be allowed.
