Season of miracles at Anambra's Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry

Season of miracles at Anambra's Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry

EMEKA ODOGWU-EMEKA in Awka writes that this year’s fasting and prayer programme organized by the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, featured spiritual healings of some participants afflicted with diverse diseases.

On February 24 2017, the relatively sleepy Uke community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra state witnessed unusual human and vehicular traffic. The visitors were neither there to take part in a political event, nor a high profile wedding ceremony. On the contrary, they flocked Uke to attend a religious event.
And the event was the closing ceremony of a 33-day prayer and fasting with the theme “My Year of Divine Enthronement” organized by the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry; presided over by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma (Ebube Muonso), the parish priest of Blessed Iwene Tansi Parish, Umudioka, Dunukofia, in Onitsha Archdiocese, Anambra state.
Every year, the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry Uke organizes series of worship, fasting and prayer sessions to seek the face of God in the year.
This year’s programme was tailored towards the resolution of several mysterious happenings in so many families in Anambra state and beyond.
Although the grand finale was an all-night programme billed to commence at about 9pm, many participants arrived the venue of the event as early as 2 pm that day, apparently to secure choice seating positions.
Before 9 pm when the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, took the microphone, the arena was already filled with about 1.5 million Christian faithful, many of who came to seek healing from diverse diseases.
Besides seeking for healing and miracles, many came to the venue to give thanks to God in appreciation of the blessings He showered on them during the previous years.
When it was time to give offering to God, this group of worshippers gave hundreds of thousands of naira to support God’s ministry, particularly in the area of giving succor to the poor in the society.
An estimated sum of half a billion naira was raised by cheerful donors, some of who gave almost all they had, and in turn asked for God’s continued mercies, blessings and grace.
The AUTHORITY learnt that the monies raised would be used for the propagation of Christianity through evangelism and charity.
Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma was diverse in his ministrations and homily. He read various passages of the Bible to buttress God’s promises to bless all those who believe in Him. He also spoke on the countless problems confronting the country, admonishing Nigerians to go back to God as a way of solving those problems.
Even then, he expressed profound sadness that many Nigerians are passing through hardships as a result of the worsening economic situation in the country.
During the 33-day prayer and fasting, several people received healing from various diseases that had afflicted them for so many years.
For instance, both Paul Ukachukwu and Bernard Mmaduka, who were previously certified to be deaf and dumb, received spiritual healing, as they could hear and speak, after the man of God prayed for them.
Mrs Olisa whose quadruplets were two apiece in each sac said: “God of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry as the impossibility specialist secured my beautiful children, and I gave birth like Hebrew women on February 5th, 2016. I charge all to believe in God and to do whatever His Prophet ‘Ebube Muonso’ proclaims because he is authentic and has the power from above to speak miracles into your life.”
Mrs. Edith Nweke confessed that her trials were numerous and tormenting, but at the awaiting mothers prayer session “where Ebube Muonso pronounced that 360 babies would be delivered in Adoration, I believed the prophecy and God has blessed me with my own baby today.”
On her part, Mrs Josephine Ngozi Anyanwu, said that after seven years of going into menopause, she was diagnosed of cancer and heart failure, but after she was prayed for, she went for further tests, and the doctor confirmed that the cervical cancer had disappeared.
Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano, who was accompanied by his wife Eberechukwu, to the Adoration ground at Uke, described Fr. Obimma as a gift from God, and praised his spiritual guidance to millions of people all over the world, particularly Anambra state.
“Ebube Muonso is not the healer but Jesus Christ. I have no power to do miracles unless it is given to me from above.
“The Adoration Ministry has recorded unprecedented harvest of miracles. For me, I can say it is the most booming ministry around, because, when you come here, you see evidence of God’s presence, blessings and the power of the Holy Spirit in action.
“Just recently, there was a Chinese who was so sick that he had just one day to live. That day, I was in China to anchor a crusade. The coordinator of the crusade, Emeka, told me to wait behind and pray for the man who was diagnosed of cancer. His liver and kidney were damaged and he had only one day to live.
“When we got to the man’s house, I saw only a skeleton. I didn’t know what to say. I told God to wrath a miracle that would convert the entire Chinese country. I brought out my shawl and laid it on the man and started singing praises.
“After that. I anointed him with oil. The next day, Emeka called me and said that China was in great jubilation. He told me that the man was healed and that he had been removed from the life-support machine. He reported that the man who could not pass urine went to the toilet and passed urine unaided and also ate food. He said the doctors were amazed.” Fr. Obimma narrated.
He encouraged those facing intimidation from any quarter, and those living in abject poverty, to have faith in God, saying that God will uplift them and change their situations if only they believe in the anointing of Jesus Christ on them for accelerated promotion and elevation.
Rev.Fr. Obimma warned those suppressing the poor, especially politicians and public office holders to desist from doing so, saying that God will visit his wrath on them if they do not change from their evil ways.
