Shun politics of deception, KOK warns in Professor Johnbull

Popular TV Drama Se­ries, Professor Johnbull, will this week beam its searchlight on the political class and its predilection for making unrealistic campaign promises.
Executive producer of the hilarious sitcom, Globa­com promised a full dose of laughter as two political jug­gernauts played by Olaniyi, (Yomi Fash-Lanso ) and Etuk (Imeh Bishop), make efforts to outwit each other in their quest to win control of the chairmanship of the hospital­ity board within their locality.
Star actor, Professor John­bull (Kanayo O. Kanayo), Caro (Mercy Johnson Oko­jie) Churchill (Jnr. Pope Odonwodo), Flash (Stephen Odimgbe), Mai Doya (Funky Mallam), Samson (Ogus Baba), Abadnego (Martins Nebo), Ufoma (Bimbo Akin­tola) and Jumoke (Bimbo Kosoko) also put their artistic prowess to task in the epi­sode.
The issue of unrealistic campaign promises, contes­tants’ ethnicity, reasons for political violence, high cost of campaigns, all come to the fore in the topical episode.
