Victoria Kimani opts out of Chocolate City Music after album release, Safari

Sexy Kenyan singer, Vic­toria Kimani, signed onto Nigerian label, Chocolate City Music label, has revealed her intention to dump the label for some­thing bigger. This is com­ing after the release of her album, Safari, which is fast gaining the appraisal of her fans.
Chocolate City Music la­bel, led by Audu Maikori and MI Abaga, has been home to the Kenyan Singer since 2012 when she got signed onto the label. Ac­cording to her, the Safari al­bum is her last music project with the Nigerian label.
Via the label, Kimani has come to an enviable place in her music career, includ­ing with the release of songs like Lover featuring Phyno, For You featuring Ice Prince, Thassokay, March Along, My Money, Giving You fea­turing Sarkodie, etc.
Although no official state­ment has been made by the label, the singer made her intentions known via her Instagram handle recently. There’s been mixed reactions from her fans since after she made the news public. While some feel it’s a good idea, oth­ers are taken aback by her decision. A fan suggested she joins the Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
Kimani will be joining oth­er acts that have left the label such as Ice Prince, Brymo, Pryse and others. The label his home to Koker, CKay, Dice Ailes, MI Abaga, Ruby Gyang, etc.
