Chelsea and Manchester United are reported to be among a host of leading European clubs doing battle for the signature of Porto‘s highly-rated young forward, Andre Silva.
The 21-year-old has scored 20 goals in 38 appearances for his club this season as well as five goals in World Cup qualifying for the Portugal national team.
The two Premier League clubs will have to fight off interest from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, as well as Real Madrid, PSG and Marseille, according to French outlet Telefoot.
Silva, who came through the youth academy at Porto, is reported to have a release clause of £51m built into his contract which runs until 2021.
The youngster could come in as a replacement for Diego Costa if the Spaniard leaves Chelsea or as support for Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford.
