The Atmosphere of Love Chaplaincy (ALC), a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) and Founder of Praise Land Royal Springs International Church, Apostle Chinedum Ejiofor, have joined forces to support government’s efforts in the fight against crime and criminality the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Commandant General of the Chaplaincy, Prince Desmond Ononuju, gave the indication during the decoration of Apostle Ejiofor as one of the national patrons of ALC at his Church auditorium in Ikwa-Zuba, Gwagwalada Area Council of FCT.
According to him, the recognition of the Church General Overseer was to spur him in doing more for the less privileged individuals across the FCT and the country in general.
Ononuju described the positive contributions of the cleric to better the lives of the poor masses as the best way to reducing crime rate in the society.
He, therefore, urged influential Nigerians, Church and opinion leaders to emulate him in complementing the effort of government in job creation.
According to him, if people are provided with the enabling environment to learn skills that could make them earn a living and become self reliant, it would curb the challenges currently threatening the security and peace of Nigeria.
Speaking after his decoration alongside his wife, the cleric, Apostle Chinedum Ejiofor, said that the task of building a virile Nigeria should be the concern of churches and philanthropists.
He explained that most of the sickness and other menace being heard across the country where avoidable, if the people are given the needed support.
Apostle Ejiofor urged church leaders, to, rather than being selfish trying to accumulate wealth for themselves, take the plight of their members and indeed the masses more serious, by making necessary provision that could be providing jobs and financial assistance to both members as well as none members.
