Nollywood star actor, Leo Mezie, is gearing towards making sure he assists young Nigerians to escape the night mare of being victims of Kidney failure in their lifetime.
This is courtesy of the determination of the young actor to float a Kidney Foundation, which activities is expected to start with a Kidney and Diabetes screening session, come 1st of May. This much was communicated by the actor via his facebook account, in a recent post that read “Leo Mezie unveils Kidney Fouindation. Leo Mezie in conjunction with Sunrise Foundation International, Ireland, holds Seminar & Lecture on Kidney and Diabetes disease slated for May 1, 2017 .9am to 4pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Isolo, Lagos. Free medical screening for both cases will be conducted by Doctors from Dublin and Lagos State University Teaching Hospital! Early Detection is the Key! Be there!.
It will be recalled that the star actor suffered a protracted case of Kidney failure for the better part of last year, before he travelled to the UK for transplant, and through divine providence and the ingenuity of medical doctors that were handling his case, he was eventually healed and now, he probably wishes to use this Foundation to return his gratitude to the society that showed him love during his trying times.
