Gabon striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has been lined up as an alternative transfer target for Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjin.
The CSL club has been strongly linked with a move for Chelsea’s Diego Costa, but thus far they have failed to tempt the Spaniard away from Stamford Bridge.
The latest reports in France Football and various British media houses claim that Tianjin has turned their attention to Borussia Dortmund’s Aubameyang, and a bid of 69-million Pounds will be made for the player.
The 27-year-old West African has enjoyed another great season for his German club, scoring 37 goals across all competitions.
This has brought about interest from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, while the player himself has admitted that he would like to play for Real Madrid at some point in his career.
The significant money on offer in Chinese football has tempted major stars away from Europe, including Costa’s former Chelsea teammates Oscar and Ramires.
Aubameyang could earn as much as 43-million Pounds a year should he agree to join Tianjin Quanjin.
