Owerri Bongo crooner Chimuanya thrills fans at De-Matino Gardens Lugbe-Abuja

It was an extraordinary expe­rience, penultimate Saturday and Sunday, at the De-Ma­tino Gardens, an Abuja-based entertainment center, played host to one of the most popular Bongo music sensations from the city of Owerri, Imo State, Chimuanya.
Fun lovers within the Lugbe suburb of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, had not had it this good as they thronged in their thousands to witness the sensational performance of this highly celebrated young bongo music icon.
Chimuanya, on his own hand did not disappoint, as he invaded the area with his full parapher­nalia of office, (a full band stand) that gave the fans nothing other than their money’s worth. He was quite delightful on stage with such popular tracks like; Ogechi Ka Mma, Ayakata bongo, Father Father, amongst several hearth pumping tracks.
At the end of the second day’s performance, the CEO of De-Matino Group, Honourable Martin Opara, expressed enor­mous joy and appreciation to all that contributed to making the day a success, expecially the star musician, whom he praised for his enormous talent and humility, while promising Owerri bongo music fans in Abuja that he will do all within his means to make sure that he not only brings back the sensational artiste, but he will try and make a monthly affair at De-Matino Gardens.
Chimuanya Okere is an Ow­erri, Imo State based bongo music maestro, with several highly suc­cessful tracks to his credit, his twin brother, Chinedu, is also making a success out his own music career, under the same music genre. He is always a celebrated by music fans, especially lovers of the Owerri version of the bongo music genre.
