Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has said he had forgiven his political opponents, including Dr. Uche Ogah, Friday Nwosu and Dr. Alex Otti who engaged him in a long legal battle over his victory at the 2015 governorship poll.
Ikpeazu who made the declaration in Umuahia while reacting to his victory at the Supreme Court also urged his supporters to forgive his detractors while calling on all those who opposed him to close ranks with him in moving the state forward.
His words: “I bear no grudges against anybody and I ask my supporters not to habour hatred against my political opponents.
“I invite all those who were battling in the trenches for the seat of governor in the state to return to the table for us to build a stronger and better Abia. It is not about any individual. Abia is bigger than any individual.”
