He is the sole importer and distribu­tor of the popular Solite and Rocket Batteries, Polygard wide range of quality car care products, Stop car care products and Nanpao Resin.
A philanthropist, he has a clear tes­timony of goodwill and multiple con­tributions to the social and economic development of Akabor- Umudim Community Nnewi Town, Anam­bra State and the nation in general. He has constructed boreholes to supply water in his village, provided transformer to supply electricity in his village. He graded and tarred the roads within Akabor village and re­constructed the old existing bridge, On the education front, he awarded scholarships to many indigent stu­dents from primary school to univer­sity level. He has touched the lives of many people through his many acts of charity within and outside.
As a result of his innumerable con­tributions, he is a recipient of countless awards for the community services and his nation at large. He has been honored with many awards of excel­lence by the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Korea, United Stated of America and several other countries. He has been offered chieftaincy titles from different towns and states which he declined due to his simple way of life. He ac­cepted the one offered to him by Igwe Nnewi HRH Igwe K.O.N Orizu III. Hence the title “Ugochukwutubelu Nnewi” and from Umudim Nnewi Lagos Branch, He accepted the title “Onwa Umudim in Lagos”.
He belongs to many clubs and so­cieties. He also belongs to the British Chamber of Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce, et cetera - where he has also received different awards.
Joe Obijiaku is married to the Ex­ecutive Managing Director of Mid­dle Point Nigeria Limited; they are blessed with children.
