People's Alliance Front (PAF) endorses restructuring to end agitations

CHIDI ASONYE in Aba reports that Great Leadership Advocacy Organization, also known as People’s Alliance Front (PAF) has insisted that restructuring as being agitated by many sections of the Nigeria nation is the only key to a just and virile nation.
Lending credence to the call for restructuring, the leadership of the organization in Abia State took the stand as a panacea to socio-political crisis rocking the nation at this time.
Briefing journalists recently on the very urgent need to make
Nigeria great again in the face of the many agitations from across the Country; the association through its state coordinator, Hon. Joseph Odumuko urged the federal government to listen to the agitation for a restructuring of the country with a view to achieving a just and equitable distribution of power and resources.
Hon. Odumuko called for a true political and fiscal federation that works for every region in the country and which recognises all region as equal citizens and joint heirs to the national wealth.
The coordinator who disclosed that the core believe of PAF is to achieve transformational leadership through citizen engagement which will in turn add substantial value to peoples’ lives as well as improve service delivery.
The association stated its believe in the sovereignty of the country as one indivisible entity as well as the universal declaration of human rights as enshrined in the country’s constitution that all citizens are equal with a right to pursuit of happiness.
“It is disheartening to note that since we became a republic in 1963, no Igbo man or woman has had the opportunity to become a President of this great nation. Rather, we have constantly seen a situation where other tribes rule us as though they are our neo-colonialists. Igbo presidency is long overdue”.
