Former coach of 2016/2017 NPFL season champions (Rangers International), Imama Amapakabor, is set to return to league action with El -Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, after he agreed terms to replace sacked coach Ladan Bosso.
Amapakabor, who led Rangers to win the NPFL trophy last season, was relieved of his job at the middle of the just concluded season, after the Flying Antelopes failed to excel at both the NPFL and CAF Champions League.
It was gathered that El- Kanemi have agreed to sign the former junior international goal keeper, who is also the Super Eagles assistant coach, with a signing-on fee of 15 million Naira and a monthly salary of a million Naira.
The young coach, will be presented to the media and public next week Tuesday as the new El Kanemi coach in Maiduguri.
The Eagles assistant coach was the best paid coach last season, when he signed a contract with Enugu Rangers that was to pay him two million Naira a month, which will translate to a total of 24 million Naira.
