ODINAKA EZEOKA and CHINAZA BLESSING NGWU in this write up narrates how southerners in Kano State led by the Eze-Ndigbo in Sabongari Market/Ochinanwata Ufuma, Orumba North, Chief Ugochukwu Reginald Uzoemena penultimate month gathered at Nise, Awka South Local Government Area , Anambra state to celebrate God’s double blessings for one of their own, Mr Ekene Christian Ejioffor known locally as Kwocha and internationally with his business name ‘’Ken Christ’’.
Ekene did thanksgiving for God’s protection upon him and family as well as house warming for the best residential duplex building in Nise community.
Ugochukwu, aka Okpalaigbo n’Kano said they left Kano to Nise to join KenChrist in celebrating God’s grace upon him as it is not easy to make it and remember home in one’s youth.
Reverend Canon Udemba Eze of St John’s Anglican Church, Nise in his homily encouraged youths to enjoy the bliss in serving God.
KenChrist from poorest of the poor in Umuaghalanwa, Umuono Ngodo Nise at 40 years of age overcame poverty through his estate and building materials businesses with specialty in plumbing materials -local and foreign brands.
Mr Anthony Sunday Ejioffor, a Lokoja based businessman was full of praises to God Almighty for sparing their humble but illustrious son.
For Chief Chukwudi Ezenwoke, aka, Ichiele Nise and the past Chairman of Umuono village, Mr Gozie Amateze, they cannot thank God enough that despite the economic reccession , their brother was able to remember to build.
Though Chairman of Umuono, Mr Chris Ekpe was not handy as the time of going to press, the Secretary of Umuaghalanwa family and Umuono Kindred, Mr Okechukwu Amatta said KenChrist is their age mate hence their age grade Ifeabata Age Grade were all on ground to celebrate .
Again, the Chairman, Otiekwe Umuono, Amata Chigozie described the house warming outing as an act of encouragement for other youths.
Though the celebrant Ken Christ Ekene Ejioffor a.k.a Kwocha , Nwatakwochaka was overwhelmed by God’s glory in his life and attending to guests that he could not explain how he felt as he parked into his mansion , even as he promised to tell his grass-to-grace story in no long time.
But his wife, Mrs Happiness Ejioffor flanked by their five children, 2 boys and 3 girls in a short encounter expressed gratitude to their guests for identifying with them, assuring that her family would not depart from the goodness of God.
The Elder Brother to Kwocha who enjoys the appellations of his brother as a home based, Mr Obiorah Ejioffor nearly wept for the glory of God upon their family and lamented their parents were no long alive to be part of the celebration.
