Clergy seeks end to Herdsmen killings

The Prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim worldwide, HisA� Eminence Baba Aladura, Dr David Bob-Manuel, has urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to proffer solution to the incessant killings by herdsmen in the country.

Dr Bob-Manuel in an interview with The AuthorityA� over the weekend, at the church Central Management Committee (CMC) Aggrey Road, Port Harcourt, said theA� Federal Government has a major role to play in ending the killings by herdsmen in parts of the country, because they control all the Armed Forces in Nigeria.a�?

The ClergyA� urged President Muhammadu Buhari to order the mobilization of the Armed Forces to affected areas of herdsmen attack. His said a�?if Government is determined to stop the killing, it will stop.a�?

His Eminence who was in Port Harcourt for a tour of all the provinces and also partake in the National Crusade holding at the CMC, urged Christians to always pray for the leaders of the country so that they
can lead well.

He revealed that the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim has always made it a duty to pray for the sustenance of the country.

a�?The Children of God will have prosperity and blessings this year, but they must live a holy life and be pure in order to flourish in righteousness which is the theme of the National Crusadea�?, he said.

He noted that Jesus Christ came to reconcile man back to God, hence is the duty of Christians is to pursue and seek peace.

Speaking on the ongoing voters card registration, His Eminence urged Christians who have not gotten their voters card to ensure a�?they get their Permanent Voters Card as it is the power they have as Christians to choose leaders with the fear of God.a�?

Advising Christians to always emulate Christ by having the spirit of love and forgiveness, Dr Bob-Manuel revealed that the country will be well if people with the fear of God are voted into Power.
