Opara Ezinne Gloria popularly known as Zinny, is a fast rising Nigerian actress, model, television personality and a philanthropist. She was born on the 6th October in Akwa Ibom state to both Nigerian father and mother.
Opara Ezinne Gloria is Nigerian and she prides herself as the symbol of an African woman. She made her debut in a movie titled Rising Moon as a student in 2005, produced by Don. Chucks Uzochukwu (De. Don), five years later she started her acting career professionally in 2010, with the movies Krakas babes.
She is a native of Ihiagwa a small community in Owerri West Local Government, in Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. From a young age Zinny Opara had showed desire to become an actress and her parent gave her the encouragement and the support she needed to be successful.
She attended Queen’s college Enugu, were she obtained her West African Senior School Certificate. After completing her secondary school education, Opara Ezinne proceeded to Imo State University where she graduated with bachelor’s Degree in theater Arts
In 2010, Opara Ezinne joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and she has acted in several movies: Krakas babes, Supermodels, Oga vulcanizer, Packaging, Like mother like daughter, Tears of glory Gold dust, Child of pain and lots more, Ezinne Opara have been nominated for several awards in the UK and USA, as Best Up Coming Actress of the Year 2012 at the ZAFAA GLOBAL AWARDS, LONDON, NOLLYWOOD CRITICS AWARDS, IN US.
In 2015, Opara Ezinne was appointed as an Ambassador of the girl child by HADIF FOUNDATION to give a voice to the Girl child that does not have a voice and to fight child labour, trafficking, rape and prostitution. She is currently signed up with Trinity Media Limited, working on several productions that will soon hit the screen.
