Super Falcons back in camp for Gambia

The Senior Women National Team, Super Falcons, will return to campA�on ThursdayA�ahead of preparations for the 2018 Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against their Gambian counterparts.

A statement issued in AbujaA�on TuesdayA�by the Media department of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) indicates that Coach Thomas Dennerby has called up 26 players, including overseas a��based defender Ngozi Ebere, to resume camp at the Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja on Thursday, 10thA�May 2018.

The first phase will take place between 10thA�a�� 15thA�May, with the second phase happening 17thA�a�� 22ndA�May and the third phase set for 24thMay a�� 1stA�June. Only players selected for the trip to Banjul will take part in the fourth phase, scheduled for 2ndA�a�� 12thA�June.

The two-leg fixture will take place between 4thA�a�� 12thA�June, with the Gambians hosting the opening leg in Banjul. The NFF has chosen Monday 11thA�June for the concluding leg in Nigeria.

Victory over the two legs against the Gambians, who eliminated Burkina Faso in the preliminary stage, will send the eight a��time champions Nigeria to the 11thA�Women Africa Cup of Nations finals in Ghana later this year.
