A Superintendent of Police working with the Divisional Police headquarters in Gwagwaladada, Ugwuanyi Julius has provided security tips to newly admitted students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Abuja (UniAbuja).
He stated this at an orientation lecture organised recently by the Faculty to sensitise the fresh students.
The police officer tasked the students to shun examination malpractices, cultism, indecent dressing and drug abuse, just as he implored them to be attending their lectures promptly and shun associating with bad eggs.
He enjoined the students to distance themselves from engaging in criminal activities but focus on their studies.
The SP called on the students to conduct themselves peacefully throughout their stay in the university and avoid acts capable of tarnishing their image or leading to their expulsion from the university.
Julius called on the fresh students to be law abiding citizens at all the time and relate well with their lecturers and colleagues, noting that that would in no small measure make them better citizens who would in the future contribute their quota in nation’s building.
