Ramadan: Sarkin Hausawa enjoins Muslims to pray for peace

As Muslim faithful commences the 2018 Ramadan fast on Thursday, the Sarkin Hausawa of Nyanya, Alhaji Musa Isyaka Dala has called on them to pray for peace in FCT and its environs.
He urged the Muslim Ummah to offer prayers for leaders and the country in order to end the killings and herders/ farmers clashes in some part of the country.
Dala encouraged those fasting to emulate the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and qualities of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
He called on them to emulate the lifestyle of Prophet Muhammed beyond the Ramadan, “Muslim Ummah should use this Ramadan period to change their ways for peace in the federal capital and beyond.
“Again, this lifestyle should continue after the Holy month so that security agents will have less work to do.”
He said protection of lives and property should not be allowed to be the concern of only government and the security agents, but a concern of all.
Also, Dala urged the well to do individuals to support the less privileged in providing food items that would support them during the fasting period.
