Ezinna Mike Onyele, Distributor to many brewing companies, has recommended that men and women should not go into marriage unprepared.

“My advice to young people is that they should not walk into marriage in a haste; you must plan. Men who are ripe for marriage, God would give them the empowerment to get married.”

Ezinna Onyele, a native of Osina in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State gave the advice recently during the wedding ceremony of his son, Kelech Emmanuel Onyele and Chinyeaka Tessy Eze from Adazinnuku of Anambra State.

Speaking to The AUTHORITY at St Mary’s Catholic Church Isolo, venue of the Holy Matrimony, he said “If you are in my shoes you would know that I am on top of the world as far as today is concerned. First is that God blessed me with good health to witness the marriage of my first son. I am excited and deeply happy and I am thanking God for this. I also pray God for life and good health. And I pray that what He has done for me let Him do it for others also.”

Onyele also prayed for the new couple “My blessing for the new couple is that God should give them long life and good health. God will give them the fruit of the womb, they will have male; they will have female children. They will remember God as their alfa and omega in all they do. I commit their going out and coming in to the hand of the almighty God.

“I pray as I am witnessing their wedding, they will also witness the wedding of their own children,”Ezinna Onyele prayed.

On her part, Ezinne Onyele, mother of the groom explained how joyous she was “My happiness has no bounds, it is a great day because it is my first son who is getting married, I am glad because God has granted us what we have asked of Him.

“I wish them a successful marriage; they will live in peace and harmony. God will bless them with the fruits of the womb; whatever good thing they want in this life they will get it; they should fear the Lord, because that is the beginning of wisdom. When they respect God and fear Him, there is nothing good God will not grant them.”

Mrs. Onyele has advice for parents when she said “My conviction about marriage is that if your child brings somebody he or she wants to marry and say this is the person I want to marry and you see that he or she truly loves the person, the best thing is to support him or her and give your blessing. The reason is that in the future when he marries another and there is problem, he or she will blame you for their woes.”

Kelechi expressed his excitement and said “I am very very ecstatic that I married my heartthrob, the love of my life, the apple of my eye, everything that completes me.

On what attracted Tessy to him, he said, “Her personality, her dignity, her care for family was what attracted me most importantly. I watched her closely and concluded she has all the qualities any decent man would want in a woman,” Kelechi disclosed.

He then advised bachelors “My advice to men that are of age is to put their eyes to the ground, look carefully, and settle for whom their eyes chooses and love dearly.”

At the Reception which held at TFC Gold Hall in FESTAC Town Lagos, Chairman of the occasion, Mazi Kelechi Ejeakwu (Mbata) while calling for prayers upon the new couple said marriage has no formula. He said whatever be the reason for their marriage shall be granted to them by God.”
