On Monday the 21th of May 2018, delegations of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) led by its Deputy Director, Standard Development and Group Head, Chemical Technology to Seahorse Lubricant Industries Limited facilities at Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Anambra State.
In a statement credited to Mr. Samuel Agboola Afolanyan, the Deputy Director of The Standards Organisation of Nigeria, the visit was to prove to Nigerians that Seahorse Lubricant Industries Ltd products are manufactured under good and genuine practice as stipulated by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria in accordance with the National Standards.
The Chairman/CEO of Seahorse Lubricant Industries Limited, His Royal Majesty (Dr.) Ebuka Onunkwo, the Eze Igbo Gburugburu, Republic of Benin, led the various Departmental Heads of Seahorse Lubricant in conjunction with the delegations of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and the Press crew to inspect Seahorse facilities. During the inspections, some tests were carried out by SON officials.
At the end of the test, in a statement issued by SON Deputy Director Mr. Samuel Afolanyan; SON is not surprised at the outcome of the results as same tests have been routinely carried out by the Anambra State Chapter of SON and same quality results have been continuously obtained.
The essence of the visit therefore was to prove to Nigerians that Seahorse products are manufactured under good national standard and the products duly certified by SON. And also that SON does not issue out MANCAP Certificate on assumption. Seahorse MANCAP certificate was issued to it after all the requirements were met by the Anambra State chapter and reconfirmed by SON Head Office.
The Deputy Director further praised the Chairman/CEO of Seahorse Lubricant Industries Limited for his Commitment and zeal in ensuring that the Economy of Nigeria attains its greater height through locally manufactured products as a core value of this administration.
The Chairman in his remarks, thanked the SON-led delegations for doing the needful in showing to the world the genuineness and quality of Seahorse products, while reiterating Seahorse Lubricant Industries Limited commitment in ensuring that its products continued to be a force to be reckoned with in the world and the plans to take over the African region.
Also present at the inspection was the Chairman of Ekeson Group of Companies, Dr Eugene Ojukwu, who commended the Chairman/CEO of Seahorse Lubricant for sticking to the quality they are known for over the years. He says he knows this because his Company, Ekeson Transport has been a major user of Seahorse products and that it had never for once failed.
And Amb. Emeka Odidika E (The immediate past coordinator, Transformation Ambassadors Of Nigeria, Anambra State chapter) who also confessed how his car was suffering from one problem to the other but stopped at the change from his formal oil to Seahorse Lubricant as recommended by his mechanic.
He then recommended Seahorse products as a proper products for all and sundry!
