The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has described The AUTHORITY Award he received last Thursday as an elixir for the execution of more projects in the state.
He said that the award serves as a reminder for him to focus more on programmes and projects that would add value to the people of Kano people and other Nigerians.
Ganduje, who was represented by the Commissioner for Information Culture and Tourism, Mohammed Garba, said that the award was a challenge to his administration in delivering the dividends of democracy at all times.
The governor stated that the recognition of his performance would ignite his passion for executing people-oriented programmes.
He added that the award would remain indelible in the history of his administration in the state.
Gandauje reiterated the state government’s commitment to executing more projects for the people, irrespective of their location and status.
