Dankwambo appoints new Monarch for Dadiya kingdom

The Gombe State Government has approved the appointment of a new Monarch for the Dadiya community, the second largest chiefdom and ethnic tribe in Balanga Local Government Area of the State.

He is Alh Abdulkadir Abubakar Galadima III. He replaces the former monarch, His Royal Highnes, Alh Adamu Abubakar Galadima II, who died last July 24, 2017.

Presenting the letter of appointment to the new Monarch at the Chief’s palace in Bambam on behalf of the State Governor, Alh Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alh Abubakar Mohammed Walama, prayed God to grant him the wisdom to lead his people aright.

Born on January 31st, 1964 in Bambam, Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State, the Second Class Chief attended Bambam Primary School from 1972-1978.

He was at Government Secondary School Kaltungo from 1978-1981; Government Secondary School Gombe, 1981-1983, and Federal Polytechnic Bauchi where he bagged Diploma in Public Accounts and Administration.

The new Folo Dadiya started his career with the Defunct Bauchi State Ministry of Education in 1983 as Clerical Assistant, before moving to the present day Gombe State, when it was created in 1996.

Until his appointment as the 7th Paramount Ruler of Dadiya Kingdom, Alh Abubakar Galadima III was a Principal Executive Officer (Accounts) with Gombe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
