…Set to pick AGAP ticket

From Everest Ezihe, Owerri

Determined to realize her presidential ambition in the 2019 elections, a presidential aspirant on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mrs Adeline Emihe has announced her resignation from the party, while she has joined the All Grand Alliance Party ((AGAP)

Emihe said her decision came after weeks of political consultations and re-strategizations, to still pursue her divinely driven presidential ambition.

Emihe who joined AGAP over the weekend at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja disclosed this in Owerri on Monday while addressing members of her Re-Build Nigeria Campaign Organization, enlarged family members and other critical stakeholders.

The American trained Academia and Public Administrator revealed her reason for leaving PDP as the party’s resolve to zone her presidential ticket to Northern part of the country adding that as a South Easterner the PDP zoning arrangement did not favour her presidential political ambition.

She described the zoning arrangement as undemocratic as her vision is to vigorously pursue her aspiration into logical conclusion by being a front line contender in the forthcoming general election.

The human rights activist pointed out that once she picks AGAP presidential tickets, her rural sensitization and mobilization networks couple with her acceptable popularity will earn her the presidential seat while cautioning against rigging and violence.

According to her, “AGAP is a political party that is anchored in mass movement. The leadership is God fearing as they operates within the tenets of democratic ethos and principles. They don’t compromise to rule of law, due process, visionary and purposeful governance. I’m at home with the party and I feel spiritually fulfilled pursuing my aspiration and ambition using the political platform.” she noted
