Senator Nkechi Nwogu has been cautioned against her persistent jibes at Senator Theodore Orji.
The warning came from Senator’s Orji’s Legislative Aide and Media Adviser, Chief Eddie Onuzuruike.
In a statement he issued in Abuja, Onuzuruike described Nwogu as a “drowning politician who is grabbing all straws to keep afloat.”
He recalled that Nwogu in an interview with The Sun on October 9, 2018 made “frivolous and blackmailing claims which were neither here nor there against Senator Orji.”
According to him, Orji has in all ramifications represented and projected his constituency and constituents, adding that “Suite 2.20, Senate Wing, National Assembly is a beehive of activities where all manner of assistances are given even to non-constituents. Senator Orji has listening ears and has the habit of answering all calls and replying text messages of all irrespective of creed, tribe and colour
“No. 32 Ojike Street, the constituency office is a haven for so many with multiple activities on weekly basis catering for all. Senator Orji has executed many projects and rendered various humanitarian services andalso published his scorecard.
“Nkechi Nwogu should first secure a ticket from her All Progressives Congress (APC) or All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) where she is sure of defecting to in case of any misadventure.
“Enough of her unprovoked jibes. The ultimate for every politician is gaining the confidence of the electorate which Senator Orji has done in the six Local Government Areas’ constituency structure receiving admirable names such as Grand Governor, Papa Ukwu and Ochendo Global from people. Nwogu should list all her achievements in the National Assembly for 12 years as a House of Representative member and Senator and compare these with Senator Orji’s three years as Senator.
“Contrary to her claims, Abia Central is ably represented by Senator Orji,” Onuzuruike said.
