Lafia township stadium has been mapped out for a standard restructuring among other projects embarked on by the administration of Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
This was made known to journalists on Tuesday by the governor who undertook a working inspection to the facility.
Al-Makura who said boosting sporting activities and ensuring youth participation in sports activity for international competition was one of his administration policies, has vowed to fix the stadium so that it can attain international status.
The governor further revealed that the upgrade of the present standard of the stadium will leave no aspect of sporting behind including the indoor sporting facilities, special areas for para- sports activities as well as the building of a sport lodge.
He equally stated that the renovation and replacement of some of the facilities that needed replacement would be completed within 45 days to enable the youth of the state ad beyond to make adequate use of it.
