Shocked by the news of the demised of the Emir of Nasarawa LGA,HRH late Dr Hassan Ahmed 11,Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura,has expressed a deep sense of loss and symphaty to the families of the late Emir whom he described as one of the eminent traditional ruler in the north central states of the country
Al-Makura who comensurated with the families,people of Nasarawa Local Government,and the state,said the death of the revered and most loved royal father would not only be felt by his immediate family and people of the state alone but the entire country,especially among his peerls and class of chiefs going by the very matured and contributions he has made in shaping the development of the council and the state.
The governor who was in attendence of the late Dr Hassan Ahmed11 burial on Thursday,prayed that God who has helped the deceased to lived a life of example and his contribution towards the educational successes of respected sons and daughters of Nasarawa LGA, consoled those he has left behind.
He added that with the death of the royal father,a vacuum of no small measure has been created,which only Allah can fill in with a successor of an examplary life,that would be anchored on mutual respect for humanity,community service which was also that of a role model.
Al-Makura appealed to the family,people of Nasrawa to continue to emulate the good virtues of the late Emir,while calling on them to make peace the bedrock for their peaceful coexistence,as government would not relent in its efforts of providing security and safety of their lives and property.
Senator Walid Jibrin,the chairman board of Trusty, people’s Democratic Party,who is also the Sarkin Fulani Nasarawa state,said the dead of the traditional ruler at a time his advisory counsels and guidaince would be needed his death has created a wide gap and will be greatly missed.
Describing him as a true Nigerian,Walid said, the royal father is not a man who practice sectionalism even among his subjects,”if you are a stranger you can mistaken one to be his biological children,this is because,HRH does not allow anybody to create any difference as we are today growing up with.
“I will personally miss him,missed his ability to calm issues and above all missed his love for me as an individual,we have come a long way,but God has decided he returned back to him” Walid stated.
Also mourning late Emir,Dr Dalhatu Jibrin who is also a tittle holder in the Emirate council and Chief liberian of the Nasarawa state polytechnic,Lafia,said he had to cut short his engagement at Ado-Ekiti to pay his last respect to the late Sarkin Nasarawa, who has been the father of all sons and daughters of the emirate council.
Dalhatu added that the news of death of the royal father was to him a great lost that can hardly be replaced,posited further that the emir lived a life of servicevto the fullest which can be traced far back when hevserved in the judiciary.He prayed that Allah grant him eternal rest.
The AUTHORITY report that the late Dr Hassan Ahmed 11 dead at the age of 85,living behind many children and grand children with Four wives and have since been buried at his home town of Nasarawa as a muslim.The death occured on Thursday after a prolong ill health.
