The Comptroller General of Immigration, Muhammad Babandede, has congratulated the officer cadets of the 43rd Superintendent Basic Course that graduated at the Immigration Training School Kano.
The CG admonished the graduating cadets to live a disciplined lifestyle and professionally inclined to give their best.
Babandede who reflected on profound memories of his enlistment into the officer corps of the elite Service and the various evolving and transformational activities that has brought the Service to where it is today said the 43rd Superintendent Basic Course is the first to be trained on the new curriculum designed for all the training institutions of the NIS and the Immigration Training School, Kano inclusive adding that the training school is the institute designated for training of cadets who are degree holders to be IT driven.
“With the Technology, Command and Control building in view, this set of officers were enjoined to upgrade and be IT-Driven as this is the focus of the Service.”
The event had the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen (rtd) Abdlrahman Dambazau as the reviewing officer.
