The Super Eagles have dropped two spots in the latest FIFA rankings released on yesterday in Zurich.
Despite dropping to 46th position in the world from 44 as at January, the Super Eagles still retained their 4th position in Africa.
The latest ranking which is the first in 2019 saw Senegal, Tunisia and Morocco top Nigeria with Democratic Republic of Congo occupying the fifth position, while Ghana, Cameroon, Egypt, Burkina Faso and Mali complete the top 10 spots in the CAF region.
Super Eagles next opponents in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, Seychelles are 189th in the world rankings, while their other opponents next month, Egypt sit at 57th.
Meanwhile, Belgium, France, Brazil, Croatia and England still retained their top five position in the world in that order.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 4 April 2019.
