IPAC sues for violence-free election

Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC), has appealed to all Nigerians voters to be peaceful during elections process, play by the rules and vote for candidates of their choice.
The IPAC in a press statement in Bauchi Monday, also called on eligible voters to Freely exercise their franchise and eschew all forms of violence, intimidation, electoral corruption and anything that may comprise the 2019 general elections.
The councils north east team leader, Hon. Hamisu Santuraki said in the statement. That IPAC is committed to promoting and fostering harmonious Inter-party relation, violence -free election.
It also  fight the growing obnoxious vote buying/cash inducement syndrome in elections, stressing that the council complement INEC’s Stellar efforts to conduct very successful elections nationwide.
IPAC program also campaigns on  eradication of electoral violence and other vestiges of electoral malfeasance and nefarious vote buying/selling syndrome “in the of course of advancing democracy in Nigeria,” Santuraki said.
The council recalled that it’s voter education and sensitization successfully impacted in governorship elections in Anambra, Edo, Ondo, Ekiti and Osun, as it expresses confidence of doing same in the forth coming general elections.
Hon. Hamisu Santuraki therefore enjoined voters, security agencies and stakeholders in elections to support the call by IPAC to deepen democracy in Nigeria through fostering free and credible general elections in 2019.
