The National Chairman, Peoples Democratic Movement, PDM, Chief Frank Igwebuike has tipped the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar to emerge victorious in this Saturday election.
Igwebuike stated this when he led some members of PDM NWC to the Atiku Presidential Campaign Office, Abuja.
Igwebuike, who defeated former National Chairman, Bashir Ibrahim in a court ruling on Tuesday said Atiku has the energy, courage and experience to move Nigeria forward. According to the National Chairman, “We have only one PDP, which was registered in August 2013. Meanwhile, it has come to notice of the PDP one Bashir Ibrahim Yusuf has been parading himself as chairman of PDP.
“An Abuja high court has restrained him from parading himself as chairman of PDP. Hon Frank Igwebuike remains the chairman of PDP in Nigeria and Diaspora.  We are here today, having resolved as a political party for the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians that we have looked at all the candidate vying for the election in 2019, and noticed that Atiku Abubakar is the best with in the political space to occupy the position of President of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We have looked at his antecedents and we are very much convinced that he is the man of the moment. He is intelligent and a man who has courage to lead Nigeria. Private sector driven economy is what is needed in the 21st century. He is going to be to Nigeria what Albert Magga is to Sierra Leone.
“We have adopted Atiku Abubakar as our presidential candidate. This is PDM as a registered political party. They are talking of the pressure group established by the Late Yar’Adua. If anybody is not against me, they are for me.   This is time for election. We have directed our people to mobilise and vote for Atiku for President. But all other positions like the governorship, House of Assembly, they must vote PDM.”
