With just few hours to voting for the presidential election across the nation, INEC in Adamawa has dispatched sensitive voting materials to all the 21 local government area of the state.
As at 8am when Authority Newspaper visited the INEC headquarters in Yola both the security personnel, party officials as well as international observers were all around.
Speaking to Journalists, the Adamawa state Resident Commissioner Barr. Kassim Gadian said he received the last sensitive voting materials last night and started the dispatch this morning.
‘ I believe these materials will get to the most difficult areas before dark’
‘ the security personnel are giving us the support and ever of the stakeholders is here and I very sure that the election will commence at the stipulated time tomorrow’
Meanwhile the Nigeria Police Adamawa state command has deployed 7580 officers and men yo all polling units in the state.
The Commissioner of Police Mohammed Mukadasa said his men are ready and have been deployed we also have patrol officer sent from the Force Headquarters to compliment our men on ground to the troubled areas.
